MAYANNA was born from a simple truth: our most treasured garments hold our most treasured memories.

Founded by mother-daughter duo Jen and Akinda, MAYANNA emerged from years of searching for something that didn't exist: textured swimwear that felt as extraordinary as the memories it would hold. That search, which began in 2018, led them to a heritage mill in France, where they discovered jacquard fabrics reminiscent of vintage Chanel; completely unexpected for swimwear. Inspired by the unhurried pace of the South of France, especially the charm of Lourmarin, they built a brand around the art of lingering longer, of savoring the moment instead of rushing through it.

Every piece is produced in small batches in California, crafted through relationships that feel more like family than business. With a goal of developing a legacy that can be passed down through generations MAYANNA takes its time in developing lifelong partnerships.
